This research investigates how resilience, innovation, and sustainability can be operationalized through cross-regional cooperation between the Philippines—a maritime archipelagic state—and Tajikistan—a landlocked country—addressing their inherent geographic asymmetries. Grounded in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 13, 14, 17), the study explores policy complementarities in the blue economy, landlocked development, and green diplomacy.

The proliferation of digital health information in the Philippines has transformed patient decision-making, yet the coexistence of credible sources and widespread misinformation presents a critical challenge to healthcare delivery and outcomes. While global discourse highlights the risks of misinformation, there remains limited empirical understanding of how trust in digital platforms versus healthcare professionals shapes patient behavior in resource-variable settings. This study aimed to develop and empirically ground a Digital Health Trust Framework explaining how trust influences patient decision-making.

Employee engagement activities play a pivotal role in shaping faculty satisfaction and efficiency in the workplace. Beyond enhancing morale, these initiatives also provide avenues for addressing organizational challenges and implementing meaningful improvements. This study examines the relationship between employee engagement and teaching performance among faculty members from six (6) State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the National Capital Region.

This study evaluated the existing organizational initiatives of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Healthcare Training Program as the basis for developing a strategic framework to enhance students' competencies and strengthen their employment readiness. Specifically, it assessed the program in terms of implementation, instructional delivery, trainer qualifications, resource management, and industry linkages. It also examined the level of competencies attained by students based on national training regulations and identified the challenges stakeholders face in ensuring competency in development and job readiness.

While higher education institutions increasingly face disruptive challenges, the specific contribution of community extension programs to institutional resilience and sustainability often remains underexplored. Addressing this gap is necessary to understand how outward-facing initiatives strengthen the internal organizational capacity. Consequently, this research explored the "IGCFI Experience," examining how community extension programs serve as drivers of institutional resilience and sustainability at Inter-Global College Foundation, Inc.

Effective leadership is essential in educational institutions as it influences organizational effectiveness, faculty development, and student success. Despite the growing emphasis on educational leadership, there remains a need to assess leadership performance among school administrators and faculty to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate interventions. This study aimed to determine the leadership performance of administrators and faculty of Bestlink College of the Philippines in terms of setting direction, developing people, redesigning the organization, instructional advice and support, and monitoring and evaluation.

Gender equality remains a challenge in educational governance, where leadership opportunities and executive decision-making roles reflect disparities despite modern legal reforms. In the Philippines, Republic Act No. 6725 prohibits employment discrimination against women. Anchored on Eagly’s Social Role Theory, this study evaluated the implementation of RA 6725 at the University of Perpetual Help System–Biñan Campus. It builds on frameworks by Smith (2020) on leadership stereotypes, Garcia and Morales (2019) on inclusive organizational cultures, and Choi and Kim (2021) on social responsibility.

This study aimed to identify the factors that influence the licensure examination results of maritime graduates from Inter Global College Foundation Inc. It focused on academic, institutional, and personal factors that may affect examination performance.

Learners from disadvantaged and vulnerable groups often face significant barriers to accessing quality education, which may affect their academic engagement and resilience. The CHIP (Chronic/Vulnerable illness, Handicapped, Inadequate Income, and Pregnant/Nursing teens) Program was designed as an inclusive intervention utilizing a modular learning modality to address these challenges and support diverse learner needs. It specifically assessed the system’s functionality, usability, and overall presentation, focusing on its ability to enhance safety and security, accurately identify authorized individuals, restrict unauthorized access, and provide continuous monitoring even during power interruptions. The study also examined user perception regarding the system’s reliability and practicality for real-world deployment.

This study develops a smart building system designed for commercialize condominium building environments using a Raspberry Pi as the central controller and ESP32 modules for distributed control. The system integrates multiple access methods such as RFID, fingerprint scanning, and facial recognition, combined with automated sliding doors and a smart parking system to improve both security and convenience. It also includes an emergency evacuation mechanism, voice control, and interactive voice response for hands-free operation. To enhance sustainability, the system incorporates solar energy with automatic power switching during outages.
