In recent years, the tourism sector has placed increasing emphasis on enhancing visitor satisfaction and experience, particularly in ecotourism destinations where the balance between recreation and conservation is critical. However, issues such as poor facility maintenance, limited accessibility, and inconsistent sustainability practices remain persistent challenges in many public parks, including urban green spaces like the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC). As facilities are often viewed as the foundation of tourist comfort, safety, and convenience, their quality directly shapes visitor perceptions, attitudes, and overall satisfaction. These gaps highlight the need for systematic evaluation of facility effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement and to maintain the competitiveness of NAPWC as a leading ecotourism destination in Metro Manila.

This study explore the waste management practices at Villanueva Resort, a private resort in Rodriguez, Rizal. Established in 2001 and converted into a commercial venture in 2006, Villanueva Resort accommodates various special events and focuses on personalized service and exclusivity. This research examined the resort’s operational practices, sustainability initiatives, and challenges, with a particular focus on waste management. The study aimed to provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the resort’s waste management practices, reduce operational costs, and increase sustainability, ultimately benefiting the environment and enhancing public perception of local resources.

Effectiveness of Incentives and Recognition on Motivating Housekeeping Staff: Basis for Enhancing Employee Retention and Performance Programs
Astoria Plaza's study examines how incentive and recognition programs affect the morale, motivation, and performance of the housekeeping employees whose work, which is very physically demanding, contributes to the overall quality of service provided by the hotel. In spite of having existing incentive and recognition programs, the hotel has been unable to maintain high levels of employee engagement and retention, indicating that a need exists for data-based improvements to its current programs.

These practices cover bed/linen sanitation, furniture/fixture cleaning, public area disinfection, and organized workflows, directly enhancing employee performance through reduced illness, minimized clutter, and streamlined operations. While challenges like inconsistent training and resource limitations occasionally arise, the overwhelmingly positive results demonstrate sanitation's critical role in boosting productivity, morale, and guest satisfaction at Astoria Plaza Hotel.
Assessment of Tay's Restaurant's Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Inputs for Improved Service Guidelines
This study introduces the service quality of Tay’s Restaurant and its impact on customer satisfaction, and that occurs against the background of the growing influence of Korean cuisine in the Filipino food industry. The research is grounded in the SERVQUAL model, which evaluates service quality across five dimensions: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The study aimed to assess how these factors influence customer satisfaction and identify challenges faced by customers, with the ultimate goal of providing actionable recommendations to enhance service guidelines and strengthen customer loyalty.

Guided by SERVQUAL theory, the study examined satisfaction in terms of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.

This study assessed service quality and product offerings at Cotti Coffee Fairview Terraces. Customers increasingly seek not only coffee but also positive service experiences and brand connections. Delays, inaccurate orders, inconsistent product quality, and limited understanding of the customer journey may reduce satisfaction. Cotti Coffee was founded in 2022 and entered the Philippines in 2024, serving primarily local residents and students. Service quality was assessed using the SERVQUAL dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles.

The Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park (LPPWP) is a protected coastal wetland that promotes biodiversity conservation alongside sustainable tourism initiatives. Among its environmental programs are coastal cleanup activities intended to reduce marine debris and encourage visitor participation in environmental stewardship. This study evaluated how respondents assessed the coastal cleanup as an effective sustainable practice at LPPWP and examined selected variables related to awareness, satisfaction, and behavioral intention.
Analysis of Staff Workload and Task Efficiency in Public-Area Housekeeping at Zinnia Tower Condominium: Basis for Workload Management and Performance Enhancement
The housekeeping department is a foundation of success in the operations of high-end residential facilities. It takes care of cleaning common areas, such as corridors, lobbies, elevators, etc. Since the satisfaction of residents about the condominium is directly dependent on the level of cleanliness and safety of these facilities, the housekeeping staff performance is crucial. Housekeeping personnel have to endure workloads due to lean staffing policies, heavy traffic, and the increasing demands of services. The staff at Zinnia Tower Condominium has a challenging role of maintaining a strict timetable of regular maintenance tasks. This research aimed to examine the effect of workload variables on workforce efficiency namely task volume, task complexity and frequency of emergency calls.
