This study investigates the perceived advantages and disadvantages of non‑verbal communication—encompassing body language, facial expressions, gestures, and eye contact—among Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. Drawing on Dual Coding Theory, which posits that human information processing involves both verbal and non‑verbal systems, this assessment focuses on three forms of non‑verbal communication: physical touch, eye contact, and sign language. The study evaluates how these modes contribute to emotional expression, clarity of message, and relationship building, while also considering potential drawbacks such as misinterpretation and cultural variability.

The study explored how well residents are informed and equipped to handle fire-related incidents, as well as their perceptions of the existing fire safety procedures within the barangay.

Public safety plays a vital role in fostering a secure and cohesive community. The Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) of Quezon City implements various initiatives to uphold public order and promote road safety, particularly in Barangay Pasong Tamo. This study evaluates the POSO Road Safety Awareness Program in terms of civic education, community involvement, and interagency collaboration. It also identifies the challenges faced by POSO in implementing the program and proposes potential interventions to improve the effectiveness of its road safety initiatives.

These events underscore the critical need for institutions, including academic environments, to establish comprehensive emergency preparedness and safety protocols. This study aims to propose a structured emergency preparedness and safety plan tailored for Bestlink College of the Philippines to enhance disaster readiness and ensure community safety.

This study, titled "Assessing the Effectiveness of Equipment in Enhancing Fire Response in Valenzuela City," investigates the adequacy, accessibility, and safety features of the firefighting equipment employed by emergency responders in Valenzuela City. It aims to determine how effectively the current equipment supports fire response operations and enhances overall emergency management. Furthermore, the research seeks to identify critical challenges and constraints related to equipment availability and functionality that may impact operational efficiency and firefighter safety.

Traffic management is a persistent issue in many urban areas, and Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, is no exception. Increasing vehicle volume, insufficient infrastructure, and a rapidly growing population contribute to congestion, safety concerns, and poor compliance with traffic laws. This study examines the effectiveness of the Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management (DPSTM) in enforcing traffic regulations in Bagong Silang. The effectiveness of regulation is influenced by factors such as public awareness, enforcement consistency, and community attitudes toward traffic laws.

This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Search and Rescue (SAR) Team of QCPD Station 4 during disaster situations in Novaliches, Quezon City. In recent years, natural disasters have inflicted severe damage, creating crisis conditions that have threatened lives and property. Efficient disaster response—particularly in search and rescue operations and health monitoring—requires accurate, timely identification and localization of affected individuals. These operations play a vital role in minimizing casualties and ensuring public safety during emergencies.

This study explores the impact of conversational artificial intelligence (AI) on human emotions and offers insights for enhancing emotional support chatbots. As AI becomes increasingly woven into our daily lives, it is crucial to understand its effects on users' emotional well-being. The research focuses on five emotional dimensions: subjective experience, physiological response, expressive behavior, cognitive appraisal, and behavioral response. It also examines whether factors such as age, gender, and frequency of AI use affect emotional reactions. Additionally, the study addresses the challenges users encounter during AI interactions. By identifying the strengths and limitations of AI in emotional engagement, this research provides recommendations for improving AI's emotional intelligence.

This study aimed to examine the influence of future orientation (FO) on the resilience of student leaders in overcoming adversity. Although much of the existing research on FO centers on at-risk youth, its relevance extends to other groups—particularly those in leadership roles. Leadership involves setting goals, strategic planning, and effectively responding to challenges. Gaining deeper insights into FO and resilience can help in designing programs that equip student leaders with essential skills for decision-making, sustaining motivation, and managing adversity.

However, the psychological effects of idolization—especially its connection to loneliness and emotional dependence—are often overlooked. While many fans view celebrity admiration as harmless, excessive attachment can lead to emotional and mental health concerns. Most existing studies on celebrity worship concentrate on Western figures or K-pop idols, leaving a gap in understanding its impact in the Filipino context. Research focusing on BINI’s fans remains scarce. This study seeks to explore the possible relationship between celebrity idolization and loneliness among young adult fans of BINI, aiming to contribute insights that can guide mental health awareness and support initiatives.
